Our Team

John A. Catanio
President
With close to 40 years experience, John started his career as an electrician with a family owned and operated business. Be became a Project Manager/Estimator with some of the largest electrical contractors in the NY/NJ area for over 10 years. In 1991, John opened the doors to Enterprise Electric, he wanted to create company that would provide the highest level of service with a strong work force, quality installations, and customer satisfaction. His work ethic is unparalleled and is heavily involved in all aspects of the company. John is a leader and has brought his vast experience and knowledge to build a successful team that can handle the demands of any type of project. Enterprise Electric has successfully completed over $300 million of work in various industries. He has brought his vision to reality.

Brian Smarslok
Vice President of Sales
With over 30 years of experience in the Electrical Industry. Brian brings valuable experience as he began his career as an IBEW member from Local #262. He holds a NJ Electrical License. He previously owned a successful Union Electrical Business. From being a former IBEW member, to now estimating projects ranging from $500,000 to $20,000,000, Brian is well versed in all aspects of the electrical industry including project management, estimating, contract negotiation and budget planning. Brian is a vital and key member of Enterprise Electric’s team.

Martin Del Prado
Vice President of Operations
Over 15 years of experience in the Electrical Industry. He is a graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology. He started his career as an electrician in Local Union #456 and still retains his union card. With over 15 years of experience in data centers, health care, pharmaceutical, commercial, and distribution, he has become an invaluable part of Enterprise Electric. His experience has been based upon holding positions from being, a Foreman, Superintendent, Project Manager, and a BIM Coordinator. • Highlighted Projects: Goldman Sachs Data Center, Digital Realty Data Center, Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Princeton University Hospital, Merck, Bristol Myers Squibb

Nicholas Gallo
Project Superintendent
Nicholas joins the team with over 16 years of experience in the field, including experience as foreman, general foreman and General Contractor Superintendent. He still retains an active union card with the IBEW Local Union 164. Through valuable experience in data centers, healthcare, high-rise, and commercial, he has made the transition to Superintendent for the Enterprise Electric team. • Highlighted Projects: JP Morgan Chase Data Center, DPR Data Center, Benzel Bush Mercedes Benz, UBS, Pearson Publishing, Wiley Publishing, New York Stock Exchange Data Center, Panasonic, Valley Hospital Health and Wellness Center

The project consists of Commercial, Retail, and Residential buildings anchored by the Newport Center Mall. Enterprise Electric has played a significant roll doing business with the LeFrak Organization's Construction Development team on the on several projects Shore South and North Condominium project which consists of over 400 high-end Luxury Apartment Suites and connecting ground floor retail and parking. The Aqua Blue project consisting of 300 residential units with a daycare center and retail space, The Roosevelt Apartment building with 210 residential Units and the Westin Full Service Hotel. Since 1989  Enterprise Electric and Del-Sano have collaborated on a wide range of building projects. During the last 26 years the projects have varied. They range from Healthcare and Recreational  to more recent Educational and Mid-Rise Multi Unit Residential buildings. Enterprise exhibits technical expertise in Electrical, Communication and Fire Notification applications. Mr. Catanio is personally “connected’ to the projects and demands a diligent and coordinated effort from his team!


Safety Policy

Enterprise Electrical Inc. understands the importance of safety in the workplace. Our Company Safety Committee, includes representatives from our administration, project management, field staff, insurance groups and is structured in accordance with guidelines established by the State of New Jersey / Department of Labor & Industry. We invest extensively in the training and certification of all of our employees. Enterprise Electric is a partner with NJATC (National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee) and NFPA ( National Fire Protection Association) for the Electrical Construction Industry in sponsoring and administering the most current training programs available; including OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 certification; and the NFPA-70E certification.

In addition, we offer in depth site-specific training in such areas as forklift operation, aerial platform operations, confined space entry procedures and hazardous materials and environments.

Topics in our safety manual encompass: mechanical, electrical and construction safe practices; including fall protection, respiratory protection, Tool Box Talks, Hazardous Communication Program and Material Safety Data Sheets. Our safety manual is accessible to all employees and on every jobsite.
